WHAT IS AN RSS FEED?

            Years back when you liked a blog or a website, you'd visit it regularly. But what happens when that website/blog is not updated regularly? You're time simply gets wasted and you get annoyed. You might have thought ,"I wish I can collect all the new updates and read in one spot."
         Now you can through RSS! What's the full form of RSS? Rss means Really Simple Syndication or Rich Site Summary. RSS gives you a variety of content or news on the Internet. The first step to use RSS is to set up feed reader. A reader basically goes out in the Internet, grabs latest content from various sites, collects it, and displays it for you.
          But how do you choose the content you like to receive? You subscribe to various RSS feed on the Internet. You might have seen an RSS feed icon on some websites. You just have to click on that RSS button, enter email and that's it! You're done.
            Once you are subscribed to a website or blog, the reader automatically checks the new content daily on a regular basis. The most famous are Google Reader and Feedburner. And if you are tired of a particular feed, you can just unsubscribe. It's just so simple yet awesome!
